SEMICON Taiwan Wrap-Up: Accelerating Advanced Packaging, Quantum Technology, and Smart Fab Solutions

Taipei, Taiwan — Following three dynamic days at TaiNEX, LeadinWay Co., Ltd. and LeadinWay USA have wrapped up a successful exhibition at SEMICON Taiwan. With industry demands pivoting toward artificial intelligence, 2.5D/3D architectures, and next-generation materials, our engineering teams engaged directly with chipmakers, OSATs, and fab operators to tackle critical packaging yield bottlenecks and cleanroom manufacturing challenges.

This year’s showcase underscored four core technology frontiers shaping modern microelectronics:

1. AI Hardware & Advanced Packaging: As 2.5D/3D stacking, Fan-Out Panel-Level Packaging (FOPLP), and Chiplet integration redefine backend scaling, eliminating micro-defects during high-density multi-die bonding is essential. We highlighted our in-line optical inspection capability with the AOI XI-500 Adhesive Defect Inspection Machine, designed to identify adhesive anomalies, voids, and substrate irregularities with micron-level precision before thermal curing. 
2. Smart Manufacturing & Cleanroom Facility Solutions: Integrating intelligent automation with high-efficiency fab management remains key to optimizing yield. We presented cleanroom chemical exhaust solutions, including the RTCK Wet Scrubber System, providing compact, automated emissions abatement tailored for high-mix wet process lines.
3. Next-Generation Power Electronics & Wide Bandgap Testing: As AI infrastructure, EV power trains, and high-efficiency power modules drive demand for wide-bandgap (WBG) semiconductors, robust electrical characterization and reliability testing become mission-critical. We highlighted our testing solutions, led by the Device Dynamics Labos (DDL) GaN Testing System, engineered for precision dynamic testing, high-voltage switching characterization, and defect screening across GaN and advanced power device workflows.
4. Emerging Quantum & Photonic Frontiers: Amid the debut of dedicated quantum technology platforms—spanning quantum computing, photonic communications, and key enabling hardware—LeadinWay continues to support research and industrialization with ultra-pure chemical formulation systems and sub-micron dispersion processing.
